In Morocco, English is the third most widely spoken language following Arabic and French. Now more than ever, Moroccans are expressing greater demand for learning and gaining expertise in the English language. With Morocco’s current economic growth and the establishment of foreign offices, multinationals and international universities in the country, the need for English speaking individuals to either join the work industry or enrich the academic field is becoming glaringly obvious.

In this context, and as a part of the emerging global network of Oxford English Academy, OEA Laayoune is a newly established branch based in Laayoune on the South of Morocco in a large unique city center building on the famous Mohamed VI boulevard, within a walking distance of schools public administrations and residential areas. Our school is surrounded by all amenities students require, such as shops, cafes, banks and bus stops leading to all directions in the city. Equipped with spacious smart classrooms for our students, we offer our learners a modern school that encompasses all the facilities they need for an enjoyable and fruitful learning experience. The school has free WiFi, a small pub, a library and an e-learning area. Our classrooms are named after British cities and decorated to immerse the students in the British culture and activate their awareness of the UK’s history and legacy. We provide our students with smart classrooms equipped with smart interactive boards coupled with sophisticated roof sound systems for them to make the most of their learning. We see learning as not just a process driven by us. It is a world of participation and that participation involves teachers, learners, environment and technology. The school also has a small pub for learners to socialize with their fellow students and teachers. It is also an opportunity to perfect their conversational English whilst enjoying delicious snacks and refreshing drinks.

‘Learn quality English’ has been our message since OEA opened its doors in Oxford for the first time in 2006. Our aim in OEA Laayoune is not to offer an ordinary classical English learning.
