Oxford, known as the ‘city of dreaming spires’, is steeped in a rich and fascinating history. With its mix of ancient and modern, Oxford is a bustling cosmopolitan city. Its’ beautiful architecture, numerous colleges and museums, make it the perfect destination in which to combine study and culture.

Not only the inspiration for many famous academics and authors, such as Lewis Carrol and Tolkien, Oxford is also the backdrop for countless films and TV series, such as Harry Potter and Inspector Morse.

Whether it is shopping, theatre, cinemas or restaurants you seek, there is an extensive selection in the city and its’ surroundings. What’s more, you are also less than one hour from the capital, London.

OEA Oxford, which is also the headquarters of Oxford English Academy, is located in leafy Kidlington, which is ten minutes from the city centre. We are conveniently placed within walking distance of our host families, therefore our students avoid the stress and inconvenience of travelling during rush hour.  The school is small and intimate, providing the perfect environment for learning and immersing yourself in English life!

Oxford English Academy’s UK campus is accredited by Accreditation Service for International Colleges (ASIC) which is an independent body providing accreditation services for independent, further and higher education colleges. ASIC accreditation helps students and parents make a more informed choice and will also help a school, college, university, training provider or distance education provider, demonstrate to the international student body that they are a high-quality institution.
