OEA Asia visit

Wuxi, 100 km South West of Shanghai, which lies in Jiangsu province, is home to the most recent OEA school.  Faisal and Faiza Danish are the franchisees of OEA Wuxi. The school, centrally located and close to all the local amenities, celebrated its opening on 21st September 2014. This was a great success with many guests, both adults and children, all keen to support OEA Wuxi and join in the fun!

Faisal has many years teaching and business experience and having been based in China for seven years, has a valuable insight into the Chinese market.

OEA Wuxi offers examination courses and General English, with a focus on Young Learners.  We wish them every success in their future endeavours and we look forward to supporting them in their new venture.

Kunming, known as the Spring city, is situated in the South West of China in Yunnan province.  Previously Kunming English Speaking School, OEA Kunming opened with a flourish on 27th September.  The opening, which was filmed for local television, was a great success.  Mark and Karen hosted the opening celebration with many of the students speaking and singing in English for the TV cameras.

Mark has been teaching and living in China for many years. The school focuses on speaking and listening with a view to improving the communication and study skills of the students. Many of these students go on to study abroad, making full use of their skills.

We wish Mark and Karen good luck for their venture and look forward to working closely with them in Kunming.

Trung and his team first opened OEA Vietnam in Hanoi five years ago. The school has gone from strength to strength and is now a successful Cambridge examination testing centre.

OEA Vietnam has many links with the business community and schools in the area, developing programmes ranging from course provision for both underprivileged and gifted students.

The volume of repeat business and word-of-mouth recommendation is a sure sign of the success of OEA Vietnam. They are expanding their school network throughout Vietnam and we look forward to visiting the school again in the future!
